Bad weather makes a comeback in Romania, with rain, snow and low temperatures expected in coming days
The bad weather is making a comeback in Romania, after several days when spring appeared to have taken over the country. Meteorologists warned the country will gradually come under a Code Yellow for snow and blizzard starting today (Thursday, March 14 ), and until Friday evening (March 15 ).
As many as 27 counties in the Western, Central and Northern Romania will see rain starting Thursday at noon, which will turn into snow on Friday. It will snow in the mountains during this entire time.
From Friday morning, the entire country will be under the Code Yellow for snow and blizzard, with wind speed increasing in all regions.
Temperatures will fall gradually, and the cold weather will take over the entire country during the week-end, according to meteorologists.
