Balkanik! festival in Bucharest unveils Balkan music and culture this month
Uranus Garden in Bucharest will host a Romanian festival of Balkan music and culture, called Balkanik!, between September 23 and September 24, 2011.
The event will include performances of bands like Ternipe from Hungary, Baba Zula from Turkey, Orchestra Salijevic from Serbia, Taraf de Haidouks and Mahala Rai Banda. The concerts are scheduled to start at 19:00 hours on Friday and 18:00 hours on Saturday.
Besides the live music performances, visitors can enjoy Armenian coffee tasting and a handmade objects fair. Also, the public will have the opportunity to see Balkan art every day from 14:00 hours. Read more about the festival here.
