New edition of Balkanik Festival kicks off in Bucharest this Friday
The sixth edition of Balkanik Festival will take place in Bucharest this weekend, its program including concerts, alternative events, shows, acrobatics, jam sessions with brass bands, two photo exhibitions, live craft demonstrations, and a crafts fair.
The bands that will go on stage at the festival are Antwerp Gypsy Ska Orkestra from Belgium, Band of Gypsies – which is made of Taraf de Haidouks (Romania) and Kocani Orkestar (Macedonia), Bollywood Masala Orchestra from India, Cumbus Cemaat from Turkey, Omar Souleyman from Syria, Orange Blosson from France, and Galanias-Actores Alidos from Italy.
The event will take place between September 9 and September 11 at Gradina Uranus in Bucharest. One-day tickets (which costs RON 50) and subscriptions can be purchased online from bilete.ro, eventim.ro, eventbook.ro, and myticket.ro.
