Balkanik Festival will return with a new edition this fall, with Band of Gypsies, Bollywood Masala Orchestra, and Omar Souleyman already confirmed for the event. The festival will take place between September 9 and September 11 at Gradina Uranus in Bucharest.

The sixth edition of the event will offer the public the chance to see the 26 members of the famous Gypsy bands Taraf de Haidouks (Romania) and Kocani Orkestra (Macedonia) on the same stage. They will perform together in a new show called Band of Gypsies.

Bollywood Masala Orchestra will also bring their amazing show to Romania this September, while Arabic music star Omar Souleyman will entertain the audience with his electric folk from Syria.

Three other names complete the festival’s lineup, namely Antwerp Gypsy-Ska Orkestra, Orange Blossom, and Cumbuș Cemaat.

Early bird tickets for the whole event cost RON 100 (EUR 22) and can be purchased online from eventbook.ro. One-day tickets will be put up for sale on August 15 and will cost RON 50 (EUR 11).
