The show Carmina Burana performed by the famous ballet company Ballet Flamenco de Madrid will be performed in Romania on November 24 at the Palace Hall in Bucharest.

The show gathers more than 30 international musicians and dancers coordinated by artistic director Luciano Ruiz.

Carmina Burana is a scenic cantata created by German composer Carl Orff in 1937 based on 24 medieval poems. The poems cover a wide range of topics, such as the fickleness of fortune and wealth, the ephemeral nature of life, the joy of the return of Spring, and the pleasures and perils of drinking, gluttony, gambling, and lust.

The famous cantata, which was one of the most popular pieces of music in Nazi Germany, has been used as a centerpiece for many shows. The one performed by Ballet Flamenco de Madrid is among the most acclaimed.

Tickets for the show can be bought from the Palace Hall and through the Bilete.ro, Bilet.ro, and Eventim.ro networks. Prices range between RON 80 (EUR 18) and RON 199 (EUR 44.6).
