Romanian lender Banca Transilvania implements UiPath and Druid technologies to help employees
Banca Transilvania, the biggest lender in Romania, has signed a partnership with technology companies UiPath and Druid to integrate their automation and artificial intelligence solutions in its internal processes.
UiPath, founded by Romanians Daniel Dines and Marius Tirca, has grown into the biggest Robotic Processing Automation (RPA) company in the world, while Druid, a start-up launched by Romanian investor Dan Liviu Dragan, provides enterprise chat bots.
Banca Transilvania has combined the two technologies into a chatbot that helps its employees with information that help with their daily activities. Before this new move, the bank has also launched two chatbots for individual and corporate clients, Livia and Raul.
“After launching the two chatbots that allow us to provide information to clients non-stop, we are happy to come with solutions for the BT team, to free up more time for added value activities,” said Omer Tetik, Banca Transilvania CEO.
Banca Transilvania started using UiPath technologies to automate some of its processes in June 2017. Banca Transilvania plans to add robots to several departments in the future.
