Belgian logistics developer gets loan for investments in Romania
Belgian developer WDP bought a 10,000 sqm property with storage and office space in Clinceni, a village in southwestern Bucharest, last year. The investment amounted to EUR 5 million.
The company also contracted a six-year loan worth EUR 25 million in 2015 from BNP Paribas Fortis, through its local subsidiary WDP Development. WDP plans to build several industrial and logistics spaces that should be delivered this year.
The company will build a space of 12,000 sqm for the local subsidiary of French car parts producer Faurecia. It should be completed in the first quarter of the year, and the investment amounts to EUR 8 million.
The developer will also build an 8,000 sqm space for Siemens, with a EUR 5 million investment. The building will be delivered in the second quarter of the year.
