BenQ Romania's projectors sales, up 58 percent in first quarter
Consumer electronics producer BenQ recorded a quantitative increase of 58 percent in its projector sales in the first quarter in Romania, compared with the same period last year, the company has announced. This development was triggered by the 45 percent growth of the market, as well as by the increase in sales on the educational and business segments.
"Developments in the BenQ projector sales in the first quarter of 2011 is even more relevant if we look back and see that a month ago we reported a growth of 106 percent in the same segment in 2010, compared to 2009,”, said Dragos Salamac, Team Leader BenQ for Romania.
As for the progress for the rest of the year, BenQ aims to maintain a growth by 10 percentage points higher than the general market’s evolution. So far, 3D projectors were best sold, covering 51.5 percent of BenQ's total sales. BenQ Currently sells projectors with the price range between EUR 365 and EUR 7,500 in Romania.
