Fire broke out after a blast at the Giulesti maternity hospital in Bucharest on Monday afternoon. First details point to an explosion in the resuscitation area of the hospital.

UPDATE: The fire has been completely extinguished. The fire has covered an area of 30 sqm in the maternity, but no one was hurt, according to preliminary information. Children and women in the hospital are being evacuated from the premises. 11 children were evacuated and sent to other hospitals for investigations.

UPDATE 2, 20.59 hours: 20 pregnant women in labor when fire broke in the maternity. They will be transported to the Filantropia hospital.
