Low cost airline Blue Air will launch a direct flight connecting Romanian city of Bacau to Dublin from March next year, the company has announced. The price of a ticket on this route will start from EUR 29,99, taxes included. The airline will operate two return flights a week on this route, on Thursday from Romania to Ireland and on Sunday, the return flights.

Blue Air has recently given up five of its 11 planes and sacked 300 of its 800 employees, within a restructuring process that was due to end in November, according to the company. Early September, Blue Air representatives said the airline will not launch new routes this year and that the company will undergo a restructuring program. They also said the airline had renounced four planes and it would cancel a part of its flights.
