The Romanian subsidiary of Ness Technologies will be led by Bogdan Popescu, who will be replacing current interim country manager Otakar Smolik. Popescu, with 20 years of experience on the IT market , was previously country manager for HP Services. Before that, he was the global services country manager for Compaq Romania. Popescu holds a BA in Electronics and Telecommunications, as well as am MBA. He will start with Ness on April 1st and will report to Milan Sameš, president of Ness Technologies Europe.
Ness Technologies has been working in Romania for the last 16 years. It employees 100 people in its headquarters in Bucharest and Iasi.
