Bollywood's Khan brothers arrive in Romania to shoot film
Indian actor Salman Khan has recently arrived in Romania, where he is shooting scenes for a film directed by his brother Sohail Khan.
The famous Indian actor arrived on Sunday, November 16 in Sibiu, where he is staying at a five-star hotel. He started shooting for the film Jai Ho on Sunday afternoon and continued on Monday, with filming set down town in the Central Romanian city.
Khan said yes to fans who wanted to take pictures of him, and spoke to the local media. He said he'd stay for longer, but he needs to be back in Bombay to host a tv show.
Khan, whose alleged relationship with Romania tv host Iulia Vantur has been much debated by the media, said he would meet the Romanian if she had time, and mentioned that she is a 'good friend'.
The 48-year old Indian actor is the son of actor and screenwriter Salim Khan. He is also a producer, television presenter, and philanthropist. He started acting in the early 90s, and is currently one of the most popular Indian actors. He has starred in more than 80 Hindi films so far.
The Hindi – language film industry, also known as Bollywood as it is based in Bombay, generated revenues of USD 3 billion in 2011, according to the DI International Business Development, and revenue is expected to reach USD 4.5 billion in 2016. America's Hollywood generates much higher revenue – as much as USD 51 billion annually.
