Bosch plant in Romania's Cluj to be inaugurated in May
The new Bosch plant in Cluj, Romania, will be inaugurated on May 9 this year, according to a statement of the company.
Bosch initially invested EUR 77 million in Cluj. The new research and development center occupies a total area of some 38,000 sqm.
By early-2014, 325 employees were working in this center. The company plans to expand the location and continue the recruiting process in the coming years.
Bosch Group is present in four cities in Romania, namely Bucharest, Blaj, Cluj and Timisoara.
Bosch announced the investment in the new production facility in Tetarom park in Jucu, in Cluj, after the Finnish mobile phone producer Nokia decided to close down their factory at the site
