The French do-it-yourself chain Bricostore has seen its sales dropping in Romania by 27 percent last year, to EUR 178 million. Its sales in the Romanian currency went down by 16 percent compared to 2008. Its net profit also went down to around EUR 7.8 million, according to data quoted by Ziarul Financiar.

Bricostore opened a store in Calarasi last year, after opening five units in 2008. The company plans to open a store in Drobeta Turnu – Severin this year.
