Faist Mekatronic, which supplies parts for telecom infrastructure and auto industry, plans to expand the capacity of its plant in Oradea, western Romania, by 20%.

The company has allocated EUR 10 million for investments this year. It will use the money to expand production and build a mold division, reports local Ziarul Financiar.

Faist Mekatronic is part of the British group Faist. It produces aluminum parts in Oradea for mobile phone infrastructure for Ericsson. It also has projects in the car industry for companies such as Mahle, Borg Warner, Hella, Kahrein, Ina Schaeffler, Konsberg, Brose or the Magna group.
