British lawyer opens new law firm in Bucharest
British lawyer Nicholas Hammond, who has been living and working in Romania since the fall of the Communist regime, has set up a new law firm in Bucharest.
Hammond, Minciu and Associates (HM&A) is a full-service law firm. It has specific expertise regarding financial matters as well as litigation and family issues. The firm concentrates on insurance, aviation, PPP, and other areas. It also deals with all types of litigation from simple debt collection to complex cross-border enforcement proceedings.
“We offer experience in all aspect of corporate law including M&A complex restructuring transactions as well as liquidation,” Nicholas Hammond said.
The formation of the new law firm comes after the cessation of Hammond, Bogaru and Associates in 2015, where Hammond was a managing partner.
Nicholas Hammond is registered as a foreign lawyer with the Bucharest Bar. His area of expertise is in relation to all types of commercial matters particularly IT and IP, insurance M&A and aviation as well as general corporate matters.
Alina Minciu is a Romanian lawyer with particular expertise in finance and corporate matters. She has worked for a well-known financial institution as well as large corporate practices. Daniel Cojocaru is an experienced litigator in all branches of Romanian law.
