British pallet carrier expands to Romania
British company Palletways, that specializes in pallet delivery services, has expanded its operations to Romania and Bulgaria.
It recently connected its central hub from Homberg/Efze, Germany, with a partner hub in Arad, western Romania, from where it makes deliveries elsewhere in the country, reports local Economica.net. The company also introduced a daily transport between Arad and Bulgaria’s capital Sofia.
Palletways, which processes 30,000 pallets every day and has over 400 storages across Europe, now provides pallet delivery services in 20 countries, Romania and Bulgaria included. Last year, the company posted a turnover of EUR 274 million.
The firm also entered Poland and the Baltic countries recently.
