Bucharest apartments are cheaper than last year, study shows
The prices of apartments in Bucharest dropped by up to 4% in the last year, according to a study cited by local Agerpes.
The biggest decrease was registered for 4-room apartments, whose average price was of about EUR 88,700 in November, about EUR 4,000 less than 12 months ago,
The studios and 3-room apartments were with 3% cheaper compared to November 2013, while the 2-room apartments had relatively constant prices.
An analysis based on statistics generated by anunturiparticulari.ro website shows that 2-room apartments in Bucharest were on sale for an average price of EUR 50,155 in November this year, compared to EUR 50,692 in the same month the previous year.
The average price of studios was of EUR 31,454 in November this year, down from EUR 32,268 in November 2013. In the case of 3-room apartments, the average price was of EUR 69,320 in November 2014, lower compared to EUR 71,310 in the same month of 2013.
There were 31,569 new offers on the Bucharest market in the first 11 months, of which 13,345 were offers for 2-room apartments, over 9,100 – for 3-room apartments, almost 6,500 – for studios and 2,547 for 4-room apartments.
