Bucharest City Hall has completed the auction for the design and build of the ‘Tennis Academy’ within Lia Manoliu stadium compound. For this project, the municipality is to pay RON 4.5 million (or some EUR 1 million), reports Hotnews.ro.

The new ‘Tennis Academy’ will have six courts and a total of over 1,100 seats for spectators.

The new location will be used by professional and amateur players, or will host sports competitions, according to a schedule set by the administrator.

The auction was launched in August 2013 and the total estimated value of the contract was of RON 6.1 million (around EUR 1.3 million), excluding VAT.
