Bucharest hosts first big street food festival in Romania next week
Bucharest will host the first big street food festival in Romania next week. Romania's capital thus joins big cities such as Barcelona, Berlin, London, New York, Manchester, Cologne, Delhi, and Athens on the international map of street food festivals.
Bucharest Street Food Festival (BSFF) will take place at Romexpo between September 8 and September 11. It will bring together the biggest number of food trucks, vans, trailers, and stands ever gathered in Romania. Besides special dishes, the event’s program also includes surprises for the participants and concerts.
Some of the vendors confirmed for this first edition of the event are Paste Pâine, Burger Van, Furgoneta, Camionetta, Arrosticini, Circus Pub Truck, Voyageur Van, Delicii pe Roți, Cârnățărie Germană, Creperie Citroen, Finca Alioli Van, The Little Greenery, Castelul Brutarilor, M’eat, Butoiul cu Înghețată, Duma’s Van, Grano, Sunday Bagels, Time In: Food Wizzards, Elemozsia, Betty Ice, Streat Bus, Frizzante Ride, Moritz Eis, Rolls, Molcom, Orygyns, Guido on Tour, Vatra Neamului, Norma lui Sissoko, Kanpai, Chef Gabi Toader, and Taj.
Moreover, the participants can enjoy their favorite street food such as burgers, hot dogs, tacos, and burritos on music performed by artists such as Nouvelle Vague, Dub Pistols, Jaya the Cat, Ziggi Recado, and Audio Bullys.
The access to the festival is free until 16:00. After that hour, those who want to visit the festival must have daily tickets or four-day subscriptions.
Four-day subscription sell for RON 30 + taxes, until September 1, and are available online here. A limited number of one-day tickets will be on sale at Romexpo during the festival.
