Lido hotel in Bucharest, one of the capital’s historic hotels, will reopen in December. Investor Mohammad Murad, who has rented the hotels for 15 years from its owners, will invest EUR 5 million. He plans to affiliate Lido to the hotel chain controlled by Donald Trump, according to News.ro.

"Lido Hotel in Bucharest will be ready in December. There have been EUR 3 million investments in the first stage. The hotel will have four stars. It will change altogether. It has 128 rooms now, but it will have 110 rooms after the refurbishing," said Mohammad Murad, who is also the president of the Federation of Romanian Tourism Employers (FPTR).

The investor is very active at the Romanian seaside. Next year he will open the Belvedere, Amfiteatru and Panoramic hotel complexes in Neptun -Olimp, which are currently in a refurbishing process. He will also open Boutique Hotel in Navodari, which has been built from scratch.

"I believe the future will belong to the south of the seaside. We will complete the modernization of Panoramic-Amfiteatru-Belvedere next year, a EUR 25 million investment, "Murad said.
