Bucharest hosts the first museum and entrepreneurship fair in Europe this June
Bucharest will host the first museum and entrepreneurship fair in Europe – Museum Rocket this summer. The event will take place at The Ark on June 8.
Curated by We Are Museums, the event will exhibit 25 selected regional and European startups that have developed ideas fit for museums.
The startups are active in areas such as augmented reality, mobile apps, 3D printing, ticket sales, and audience analysis, and will compete for the Museum Rocket Award, offered by UniCredit Bank.
The award will be offered by a professional jury made up of Martijn Pronk from Rijksmuseum (Amsterdam, the Netherlands), Kalam Ali from European Pioneers (Berlin, Germany), Sabina Baciu from the local Oricum Assoiciation, and Diane Drubay and Claire Solery - founding members We Are Museums.
