Bucharest, as well as Ilfov, Arges, Giurgiu, Ialomita, Buzau, Prahova, Calarasi, Vrancea, and Dambovita counties are under a one-day alert for heavy snowfall, valid until Thursday morning, 09:00.

Moreover, in Bucharest and Calarasi, Prahova, Dambovita, Giurgiu and Ilfov counties, the wind will also blow strongly in this period, with up to 55 km per hour. Meanwhile, in Vrancea, Buzau and Ialomita counties, the wind is expected to blow with up to 60 km per hour, spreading the snow.

The roads can also become slippery in this period, according to the meteorologists.
