Bucharest parks host piano recitals of romantic waltzes
The Bazilescu and Kiseleff parks in Bucharest will host this week piano recitals taking place under the title Romantic Waltz. Romanian pianist Horia Mihail, who played throughout the country as part of his Travelling Piano tour, will be delivering the performances.
“It is very interesting to see each year people who maybe do not have a connection with classical music but stop to listen and they like what they hear. I am glad and I think I will encounter some of them again in the concert hall, this being the purpose of events such these ones, taking place in less conventional spaces,” the pianist explained.
The Bazilescu Park concert takes place on May 13, starting 11:00, while the Kiseleff Park one is scheduled for May 14, at the same hour.
