Bucharest’s Sun Plaza shopping mall recorded with 45 percent more visitors in December compared to the previous month, officials of the shopping mall told local daily Wall-street.ro.

“This month is characterized by a continuous upward trend in the number of visitors, attracted by the events organized at Sun Plaza, as well as the stores’ special offers,” according to Sun Plaza officials.

“We want to maintain this trend registered so far and to enjoy at the end of 2013 an average annual increase of 15 percent compared to 2012. We think we will reach a total of 15 million visitors”.

Sun Plaza, opened in 2010, is a project developed by S IMMO AG.
