Bulgarian construction company Planex opens an office in Romania

Bulgarian construction firm Planex has opened an office in Bucharest, Romania and started negotiations for a number of projects for this year. The Bulgarian company chose Romania for expansion because the countries neighboring Bulgaria and the Baltic States can offer a lot of opportunities for new projects.

By starting operations in Romania, Planex is aiming at expanding the opportunities to utilize its full production capacity. Romania’s proximity gives Planex the opportunity to continue guaranteeing the completion of projects and use materials from its production facilities and warehouses in Varna, Bourgas and Sofia.

Planex owns a factory with monthly production capacity of 1,000 sqm of aluminum joinery, as well as a concrete production site. The company also produces aluminum and PVC joints, chipboard and MDF furniture and interior doors plant.

Planex has equipment for a wide range of activities associated with construction, such as excavation work, building demolition, site clearance, earthworks and transportation. The company ranks 25th by revenues among Bulgaria's largest holdings, according to Novinite.
