'Butterflies in my stomach' performs in Bucharest in September

Acid jazz band 'Butterflies in my stomach' will play at the Verona Garden (Carturesti bookshop) in Bucharest on September 10, while on September 16 it will perform at the Green Hours Garden, according to the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR).

Entry to the two concerts is free of charge, depending on the number of available seats.

The two concerts come before the 'Enescu Re-Imagined' show planned for September 22nd, a project started by pianist Lucian Ban and contrabass player John Hebert and supported by ICR.

Butterflies in My Stomach (BIMS) is made of: Maca (vocals), Meghi (electric piano, synth.), John (guitar), Ieronim (trombone, computers), Bujor (bass) and Laurentze (drums).

The band was presented at BBC as one of the few bands which promovate acid jazz in Romania ("Romanian Underground " - BBC - 20.12.2005) At the end of August 2006, BIMS was announced in the shortlist of Diesel U Music -International Music Contest 2006 with “Another you” song.
