Local call-center service provider Optima Solutions & Services will open a new center in Iasi, in February.

The unit requires investments of over EUR 200,000 and will hire 100 people by the end of the year.

Iasi is developing above the regional average, and attracts resources from the entire Moldova region every year, said Daniel Mereuta, general director of Optima.

The company started its activity in 2010 and has its headquarters in Bucharest. It is part of the Next Capital group that is active in factoring and debt recovery.

In 2014, Optima posted a turnover of EUR 1.6 million and had 200 employees whereas the business totaled EUR 1.2 million in 2013.
