Carestream Health enters Romanian market with office in West Gate
Health solutions provider Carestream Health has entered the Romanian market with a new local office in Bucharest, at the West Gate Business Park, Jones Lang LaSalle announced. Canadian company Carestream Health has operations around the world in medical imaging equipment and other healthcare solutions.
The company's new Romanian headquarters are in a 1,250 sqm office, located in the 4th building in the West Gate business park, developed by Genesis Development.
The West Gate Business District aims to deliver 125,000 sqm of office space that comprises nine H-shape office buildings arranged on six floors of some 2,400 sqm per floor plate. The complex also includes a hotel, shopping gallery, spa & fitness center, a residential complex and a tennis court.
Currently, the first three office buildings are fully let, and the fourth office building, with a gross lease-able area of 15,400 sqm, is due for completion this summer. The construction work for the fifth office building has already started and should be finished in December this year.
Carestream Health is a worldwide provider of dental and medical imaging systems and healthcare IT solutions that was formed in 2007 by Onex Corporation Toronto from Canada. The company bought Eastman Kodak’s Health Group and was renamed as Carestream Health. The firm currently operates in 150 countries around the world.
Genesis Development, the developer of West Gate, is controlled by Romanian investor Liviu Tudor.
