Cyclist Carol-Eduard Novak (in picture, above and below) won the men's individual pursuit in the track cycling competition, beating off Jiri Jezek of the Czech Republic in the final. Bronze went to British cyclist Jody Cundy.
Romania's paralympians include Naomi Ciorap, who competed today in the 50m freestyle swimming event, Florin Marius Cojoc, competing in the long jump. Dacian Makszin took part in the table tennis competition, but unfortunately went out in the first round.
