Polish retailer CCC, the second-biggest player on the Romanian footwear market, continues to expand in the country with the inauguration of a store in the Dambovita Mall, in Targoviste, and a new unit in the NEST retail park, in Oradea.

CCC thus reaches a network of 75 stores locally.

"We are determined to continue our expansion strategy, despite the still unfavorable post-pandemic social and economic context. We understand that this is an atypical and tough year, but we make consistent efforts to stay in line and recover," says Joanna Jozwiak, general manager of CCC Romania, quoted by Ziarul Financiar.

She says that, although the company's stores operated in July and August, the pandemic's effects were noticeable and severely affected both store traffic and purchasing power.  "We have adapted our commercial offer and sales and marketing strategies to overcome this challenge."

The Polish retailer has inaugurated two other units this year, in Miercurea Ciuc and Targu Mures.
