Ceramics, carpets, traditional costumes on display at Peasant Antiques Fair in Bucharest
More than 40 collectors from all over the country will come to the National Museum of Romanian Peasant in Bucharest, between June 17 and 19, starting 10:00 hours, with all kinds of antique objects, always present in the peasant’s house. At the fair you can find and buy different old objects, such as wood and glass images, crosses, ornaments, ceramics, wooden vessels, tables, chairs, carpets, traditional folk costumes, forks and wheels spinning, clocks, chandeliers, and much more. Besides old traditional objects, there will also be traditional food.
Tickets can be purchased for RON 4 or RON 2 for students and pensioners.
The Romanian Peasant Museum is part of the European family of Museums of Art and Popular Traditions. The museum's address is 2 Soseaua Kiselleff in Bucharest, close to the Victoriei square and the Victoriei metro station.
