Romania’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR) will host the “Quality and tradition for Romanians” Christmas fair between December 18 and December 21.

The fair will gather certified traditional and organic products, such as cow and sheep cheese or bread made after traditional receipts. There will also be products for fish lovers or for those who would enjoy some traditional Romanian products made of pork or sheep meat. The Topoloveni Plum Jam (Magiunul Topoloveni), which was added by the European Commission to the register of protected designations of origin (PDO) and protected geographical indications (PGI) in 2011, will also be available for sale at the fair. There will also be natural oils, obtained through cold pressing, and Romanian wines.

The fair will be open between 09:00 and 16:00 at the Ministry of Agriculture's palace near Piata Universitatii.
