The renowned singer Cesaria Evora, also known as the "barefoot diva" for performing without shoes, will perform again in Romania, on October 4 this year, at Sala Palatului in Bucharest.

The singer was born on August 27, 1941 in Mindelo, Cape Verde. She released her first album “La Diva Aux Pieds Nus” (The Barefoot Diva) in 1988, and held her first concert in Paris to a small crowd on October 1st. Three years later, in 1991, she released her first acoustic album.

During her career, Cesaria Evora released 11 studio albums, and her song appeared on 10 compilations and live albums. Read more about the artist here.
