Chevron yet to finish shale gas assessment in Romania
American oil and gas company Chevron has not yet finalized its assessment of shale gas possibilities in Romania, said company representatives.
The announcement came a day after Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta said the country does not seem to have shale gas reserves, and people fought over something that doesn’t exist.
Chevron is however still analyzing the data it collected during the exploration phase which ended in July for the first drill in Romania.
