Chinese company to modernize Mintia-Deva power plant in Romania under USD 271 mln project

China National Electric Engineering Construction Corporation will conduct several works at Romania’s Mintia-Deva thermal power plant, under a contract worth about USD 271 million, reports local Mediafax.

The contract was concluded during the official visit of Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta to China, and will be signed on Monday, September 1, by Aurel Niculescu, the general manager of Hunedoara Energy Complex, and Xin Chunsheng, president of China National Electric Engineering Corporation’s board.
