Chinese firm opens lighting object factory in Braila
Chinese firm Liting Universal Group has acquired a space of almost 20 hectares in Braila, called the Armonia Commercial Center, where it will open a factory for manufacturing lighting objects, said the Braila mayor Viorel Marian Dragomir, reports local Mediafax.
The new plant will create 600 jobs in the next three years. The Chinese company will operate via the local subsidiary Glorious Lighting, which was set up on March 17.
The Chinese group analyzed various options of public and private spaces, but finally decided to acquire the land, so that it could start production earlier, the mayor said.
Liting Universal Group has a turnover of EUR 80 million.
