The Romanian-Chinese House will name famous actor Jackie Chan cultural ambassador of the Romanian Chinese relations. Following this appointment, the Chinese actor will promote the Romanian cultural products in his home country, reports local Mediafax.

Jackie Chan will arrive in Romania on September 11 for the Chinese Films Days, an event organized by the Romanian-Chinese House the Ministry of Culture.

A feature – length film directed by Jackie Chan, CZ12, will open the Chinese Film Days. Other movies to be screened at the festival will be “Beijing Love Story”, by Chen Sicheng, “The Grandmaster”, by Kar Wai Wong, “The Flying Swords of Dragon Gate”, by Tsui Hark, and “Full Circle”, by Zhang Yang.

The festival will take place between September 11 and 18, at the Union cinema in Bucharest. The opening will take place on September 11 at the Grand Cinema Baneasa.
