Chinese PM said he felt like home in Romania after Government’s warm welcome

Chinese prime-minister Li Keqiang said that he felt like home in Romania, as the Chinese delegation received a very warm welcome from the Romanian Government at the recent summit in Bucharest.

“The Government welcomed me and my delegation very warmly, made special arrangements for our delegation and turned this winter into a nice spring weather,” said the Chinese prime-minister.

He said that, before the speech in the Parliament, he met president of the Senate Crin Antonescu and president of the Chamber of Deputies Valeriu Zgonea, who wanted him to feel at home in Romania.

“I told them that we arrived in Romania few days ago, but I don’t know the date because I don’t feel like I left home. I’m already home,” added the Keqiang.

The Chinese prime-minister arrived in Romania on Monday (November 25), while on November 26 he attended the China – Central and Eastern Europe Cooperation Summit organized in Bucharest. His official visit to Romania ended on November 28.
