Romanian seaside resort hosts outdoor film festival in August
The film festival Cinemascop will return with a new edition between August 1 and August 5, at the summer garden in Eforie Sud seaside resort. This year’s edition will be held outdoors, local Agerpres reported.
The festival will open on August 1 with The Brand New Testament directed by Jaco Van Dormael. Kolya, directed by Jan Sverák, is scheduled for August 2, while Janusz Majewski’s The Eccentrics: On the Sunny Side of the Street will be screened the next day.
The festival’s lineup also includes The Hundred Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared, directed by Felix Herngren, and the Romanian movie Tales from the Golden Age - Part 1 - Comrades, life is beautiful!.
The event’s program also includes art and photo exhibitions.
The summer garden at Eforie Sud will accommodate a maximum of 300 spectators, the organizers said.
