Political film festival returns in Bucharest with new edition

23 March 2018

The seventh run of Cinepolitica, a festival dedicated to political film, takes place in Bucharest between April 18 and April 22.

This year’s event, the only one of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe, is held under the slogan “Not so politically correct.”

“I believe one theme of this year’s program could be the ‘skeleton in the closet’, the hiding, the revelation and assuming the guilt in the case of chronic ‘diseases’ of the human civilization,” Marius Copel, in charge with the festival’s selection, explained.

The screenings will take place at the Elvire Popesco cinema and at the Hungarian Ballasi Institute.

The program of the event will be updated here.
