"City Break in Bucharest" program launched in London
The program "City Break in Bucharest" with prices starting from EUR 99 for three nights in three-star and four-star hotels in Bucharest has been launched at the Tourism Fair for World Travel Market, held in London, reports local Profit.ro.
The program has been initiated by the National Tourism Authority (ANT), the Bucharest City Hall, and the Romanian Tourism Employers' Federation (FPTR). It will be available starting December 1, except for Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
The City Hall will offer the tourists free entrance to various museums and tourist sights whereas FPTR will bring into the program a part of the hotels that are members of the federation. ANT said that it would promote the program at all the foreign fairs where Romania will take part.
The tourists that will choose the “City Break in Bucharest” program will receive vouchers to visit the Bucharest Zoo or the Village Museum.
Bucharest is trying to create an image of its own, distinct from that of Romania. In London, the city took part in an external tourism fair with its own stand for the first time.
