Restaurant group picks Cluj-Napoca for first Taco Bell outside Bucharest
Sphera Franchise Group (SFG), the franchisee of several fast food brands in Romania, picked Cluj-Napoca for the first Taco Bell restaurant outside capital city Bucharest.
Cluj-Napoca is in the group of cities targeted by SFG for its dynamic economy as well as for the population open to new musical, cultural and cookery experiences, Mark Hilton, CEO Sphera Franchise Group explained.
SFG brought the Taco Bell brand to the Romanian market in October 2017 and has opened four restaurants in Bucharest so far. The outlet in Cluj-Napoca will be opened in Iulius Mall, with a EUR 350,000 investment.
Recently, the company opened the fourth Taco Bell restaurant in AFI Cotroceni in Bucharest, an investment of about 450,000 euros, and announced the opening of a restaurant in Timisoara in 2019, the first unit in the west of the country.
Sphera Franchise Group is the largest food service group in Romania and owns the KFC, Pizza Hut, Pizza Hut Delivery and Taco Bell brands in the master franchise system.
