Constanta mayor wants to promote Romania to Arab tourists, focus on entertainment, clubbing

Radu Mazare, the mayor of Constanta city (in picture), wants to promote Romania in Arab countries and wants to present this new promotion project to the future Tourism Minister, who migh be a member of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), the same as Mazare.

"I will talk to the future minister and will present a promotion project for Romania in Arab countries, promotion through parties and beautiful girls. All Arabs who come to Romania leave dazed and want to return to the country with more money to spend," said Mazare, while in a club in Mamaia seaside resort on Saturday evening.

To attract more tourists to the seaside he wants to promote having fun more, as this is the recipe that has worked for the seaside, he says.

"I am happy that the Government was toppled as we can do what we have said long ago for tourism, promote fun, entertainment and clubbing in Romania on other markets," said the mayor.

Mazare is know for his eccentric parties and choice of peculiar clothes, for his love of extreme sports, as well as for his passion for exotic countries like Brazil.

Romania's Govenment was overthrown on Friday during a no-confidence vote in the Parliamanent. The opposition PSD and the National Liberal Party (PNL) won the majority and will form the new Government.
