German car parts producer Continental, which has 16,500 employees in Romania, wants to hire another 1,000 people this year. The company looks for workers as well as engineers with software and automotive experience.

Continental hired 1,500 new people last year.

The German group invested over EUR 130 million in its activities in Romania in 2015. It used the money on high-end technology, new buildings and software.

The company has research & development centers and production units in Timisoara, Sibiu, Iasi, Braşov, Nadab, and Carei.
