Conversion Marketing acquired the email-marketing platform Conectoo founded in 2008 by Romanian businessman Bogdan Iordache, reports local Wall-street.ro. The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

Conectoo is one of the leading providers of email-marketing solutions in Romania. Some of its clients are eMag (part of the same group), MRM Worldwide Romania, Ringier or Netbridge Development.

Following this transaction, Bogdan Iordache steps down from the position of CEO at Conectoo, and the rest of the team joins Conversion Marketing.

Conversion Marketing, part of Naspers group, operates online marketing services such as analysis, web creation and development, promotion through search engines, social media and mobile marketing for customers in Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria.
