Crowne Plaza hotel in Bucharest invests EUR 2.2 mln in refurbishment
The five-star Crowne Plaza hotel in Bucharest, one of the hotels owned by Romanian investor George Copos, will finalize year-end the renovation of its 164 rooms, following a EUR 2.2 million investment.
Crowne Plaza will invest in renovating its pool and fitness area and will open in May the Citronelle restaurant terrace, reports local Wall-street.ro.
In 2016, the hotel will also upgrade its design and the functionality of its conference rooms and social events.
Copos operates the hotel through a company named ANA Hotels.
Angelo Zuccala recently took on as general manager of Crowne Plaza hotel in Bucharest, replacing Franz Rattenstetter. Zuccala was previously Executive Assistant Manager with five-star InterContinental hotel in Romania’s capital.
