The biggest retailers in Romania run businesses worth EUR 7.5 billion in total last year, shows the recently published Top 100 companies in Romania report by Romania Insider. Last year, these 15 companies together posted sales of EUR 8.2 billion in total, the report shows.

The British ambassador to Romania, Robin Barnett, who is preparing to end his term in Romania, said the bureaucracy in the country is still high and that the infrastructure problems and the labor Code are barriers to investors in this country, he said, quoted by Mediafax newswire.
