Czech group invests EUR 3.2 mln in retail park in North-Eastern Romania
Czech developer RC Europe will invest EUR 3.2 million in a retail park in Dorohoi, Botosani county, in North-Eastern Romania, which will open at the end of August.
The new retail galleria, called Nest, has a rentable area of 3,100 sqm.
The first construction stage will inaugurate at the end of August and will include the Deichmann, TXM, PEPCO and Altex stores. Opening the JYSK store will mark the end of the second construction stage. The opening is due end of November this year.
"We chose to open the first retail park under the Nest concept in Dorohoi because we have already developed a successful project for Penny Market. We master this concept of retail park and we intend to multiply it in Romania in as many locations as possible. We are already working on several projects in the country," said Andrei Rati, Country Manager RC Europe in Romania.
RC Europe is a Czech real estate developer that entered the Romanian market in 2005, along with one of the company's traditional clients, the Penny Market chain of stores. The company has developed together with Penny Market around 45 local stores.
