Registrations of Romanian Dacia cars in Spain tripled in the first nine months of the year, to 15,559 units, from 5,193 cars in the same interval last year, said Spanish carmaker association ANFAC.

The number of Dacia car registrations hit 1,274 in September, more than double compared to September 2009, when 381 units were registered. French group Renault, owner of Dacia, registered a 5 percent increase in the number of registrations in the January-September interval, to 66,108 units.
